While each woman’s transition and family situation is unique, all mothers share the need for support and encouragement from other women facing similar challenges and issues. Our goal is to equip each woman for her most significant role…the perfectly designed mother of her children.
What makes Right at Home unique? We welcome all women - single or married, stay at home or working, urban or suburban, who are making the transition from the work environment to spending more time at home to raise their children. Our community of women share several common traits: an education, the desire to accomplish goals, and a passion for high standards. During this time, women also share common transitional issues: finding a new identity and fulfillment in staying home, establishing a new peer group, creating a new set of realistic expectations, and building a new life as a mom. Our bodies, minds, and souls need nourishment to respond and adapt to the changes created by transition. To achieve this, Right at Home focuses on Bible study and exercise, two key components that differentiating Right at Home from other moms’ groups.
Right at Home groups typically consist of 10-200 women, typically meet weekly in local churches for 2 ½ hours. The format includes exercise, large group Bible Study, and small group meetings. This format enables women to find balance between working and staying home and creates an empowering, new-found inner peace that helps them become better moms.
A weekly meeting is typically structured like this:
9:15 am Sign-in children in child care room(s)

EXERCISE
Each session starts with one hour of exercise, such as step aerobics, running, or brisk walking. The benefits of physical exercise are invaluable to psychological and physical health. Exercise stimulates the body’s release of endorphins, which are morphine-like chemicals that affect mood. The release of this natural chemical makes us feel better, alleviates stress, and improves problem solving skills. After exercise, women are empowered with the strength of a healthy and relaxed body and mind, and have a sense of peace and patience to face life’s challenges.
LARGE GROUP BIBLE STUDY
Following exercise, the group launches into a 40 minute large group Bible study. The size of the group may consist of 10 to 200 women and the topics of study focus on the unique issues and challenges relevant to today’s women. Study time stimulates intellectual health, provides inspiration, and promotes Christ-centered principles to be the Christian woman, wife, and mom we are called to be.
SMALL GROUP BIBLE STUDY
Right at Home weekly sessions close with 40 minutes of small group time. Small group time provides an intimate and comfortable environment for moms to share joys, challenges, questions, and concerns with other moms. Small groups, ranging in size from 5 to 10, encourage social and emotional well being. As women begin to open-up, share, and discuss, they realize they are not alone and meaningful relationships are formed with like-minded women.
Right at Home groups also help women find fullfilment and purpose through:
